Bravery

Gavin was a brave little boy. 
I remember when his daddy was teaching him to drive the UTV (utility task vehicle) and he got it stuck in a rut up on the side of a hill. 
It was stuck pretty good and leaning heavily to one side.

Gavin started to panic and began to cry, afraid he was going to flip it. 
Mommy and I stood nearby on the hill and she too was in a panic that he would get hurt. 
His dad sat beside Gav in the UTV and stayed calm, instructing him how to steer and move forward and back in order to free the tire. 

Gavin soon calmed down and listened to daddy's instructions and before we knew it he had maneuvered that thing out of the rut, turned the UTV around and with a hoot and a holler he sped off; leaving me and his frantic mommy in the dust.
